South Chase Ave is a small-town indie rock band based out of Lynchburg, VA. Originally under the name “Mended Vinyl” they were a group that formed in the summer of 2021 made up of a bunch of misfit musicians from Liberty University. During the fall and spring semesters they would spend their time picking up local gigs wherever they could performing both covers and originals.

The current roster now being Matthew Figueroa (OG member) on lead vocals, Jonah Mathews (OG member) and Sean Henderson on guitar, Caleb Bacon on bass, and Noah Lazo on drums. With this group now formed the band decided to completely rebrand themselves under the new name South Chase Ave in the summer of 2022 as well as releasing their breakout Thorns on July 5th, 2022. Written by the whole band along with a guest writer from Lynchburg VA Camden Silver.
