Hip Hop Momma

Chris Caulfield is a singer/songwriter based just outside of Toronto, Canada, who artfully blends elements of alternative rock, hip hop, and dark pop to create cathartic soundscapes that touch on themes such as anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.

Stockholm Syndrome is a fusion of sounds, with cryptic lyrics written about the struggle of treating chronic pain and painkillers/addiction and how the patient can encounter the pain relieving and euphoric aspect, which have them “in love with their captor”, and the devastation they also unleash on their life, the darker side, and that struggle.
