DJ Yasu has released many original DJ mix works. A genre-agnostic, DJ play centered on hip-hop. His musicianship has captivated listeners.
Yasu has djed at ROCK STEADY CREW, TONY TOUCH, FUNKDOBIEST, C.L.Smooth, Adriana Evans, Steph Pockets, Slum Village, Crazy Legs, The 49ers, and NUTSO’s performances in Japan.
Yasu is good at scratching and back DJing. Recently, he has appeared in media and magazines and he is also produces, provides beats as work.

Are there any challenging aspects to writing and/or recording your music?
Yes, I couldn’t make music or play DJ well. But I kept going to do that.
Has your style evolved since the beginning of you career?
Yes, of course. I wish to keep evolved to the future, too.
What do you enjoy most about being a musician?
I can born what from nothing.
Playing live or recording in studio? Do you have a preference?
No, but I prefer like live.
Do you have a preference… vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, or downloads?
vinyl records, cassettes are my favorites!
Are there any musicians who inspire you? What qualities do you admire about them?
DJ Premier and Pete Rock. Needless to say, they are very famous, but I respect them for the great sound they create and their versatility as DJs and mic-performers.
Would you like to travel to other countries to perform your music? If so, what would be your first stop?
I have DJ’d in New York City and in Delaware. Now, I’m very interested in South Africa because there are artists I know there.
Are you currently working on any projects we should look out for?
Yes, there is. I am working on a song with a South African artist. And I’m also working on a soundtrack for Battlebreaks. I’m working hard every day.
